For many summers I have traveled with my husband and children to visit our family on the south coast of England. It is a much beloved place. My husband and his sister pore over treasures there – thimbles, troves of vintage books and sci-fi magazines, vinyl records, and Grannie Bessie’s piano, which has keys the stain of old teeth. What remains.
These images are a sampling of my documentation of these artifacts, in which we delight…as we start to let them go.
